Multi User Update
Use the steps below to update your multi-user system.
The update MUST be installed on the server first.
BEFORE INSTALLING
- Make sure all Windows Updates have installed
- Reboot your computer
- Make an Archive Backup of your data
- Close/Exit the shop management software
- Make sure no other programs are running
MULTI-USER SERVER
- Make sure everyone is out of the system
- Install Update onto the SERVER first
- When its DONE, start the program on the SERVER
- Let the program complete its normal startup
- When the Open Tickets or Scheduling screen displays, you know it is
started-up successfully.
MULTI-USER CLIENT
- AFTER the server has successfully STARTED
- CLOSE the program on the SERVER
- Start a CLIENT computer
- The CLIENT should update itself to this newer version
- IF, for some reason, it does not, you can manually install this same
download onto the client to force it to the newer version
- REPEAT this process for each client
