Backup Utilities
This utility is used to perform backups. There are
two types of backups, Daily/Weekly and Monthly.
- Recommendations
-
Recommended Backup Media: We suggest using USB flash drives to backup your data. WARNING: We do NOT suggest using CD-RWs, ZIP Disks or floppy disks for backups.
-
Set your Antivirus program(s) to exclude the program/data directory from "real-time"
scans. This can cause issues with backups. (Normally C:\ACR\ and all
sub-folders.)
-
Set any automated backup solutions (such as Carbonite or Mozy) to back up files
located in C:\ACR and all sub-folders (or wherever the program is installed) at
NIGHT.
-
Do not have an automated backup program running while you are open for
business and working in the software!!
-
It is your responsibility to verify that backups can be restored successfully.
You should load the software to a different machine and restore your latest
backups at least once a month. We are not responsible for backups that are
corrupted or simply do not work. Failure to do so could result in data loss!!
